- Price index: Jerusalem district home prices fell 0.4% in June–July 2026 versus May–June and were 1.1% higher year on year; the new CBS resale index fell 2.9% in Q2 2026, the steepest drop of any district (CBS release 292/2026, 15 Sep 2026, via Klika and Globes).
- Sale prices: median deal ₪2,885,000, or ₪34,756/m², across 12,180 apartment sales reported to the Tax Authority over two years; the median ₪/m² is down about 1.8% over the latest 12 months (WizBid, consulted 26 September 2026).
- Rents: median asking rent ₪6,650/month (average ₪7,473) across 2,143 active listings; 3 rooms average ₪6,574 (Realta, updated 26 September 2026).
- Housing supply: building permits for more than 7,000 units for a fifth consecutive year — 8,445 in 2025, of which 4,092 in urban renewal (isrealestate.co.il, 9 Sep 2026; Globes, 7 Sep 2026).
- Planning: on 6 September 2026 the District Planning Committee approved the Hasbon compound plan off King George Street — about 950 homes, including 200 for rent, in three 41–43-storey towers and lower buildings (Nadlan Center, 6 Sep 2026; ice.co.il, 6 Sep 2026).
- Transport: the first leg of the Green Line (L3, HaTurim–Malha, 13 stations) opened on 21 August 2026; the Gilo section is scheduled for December (The Jerusalem Post).

Rents are asking prices from listing aggregators (Realta, Scoutr) and Yad2 or Madlan data published by the Israeli press; sale prices are closed deals reported to the Israel Tax Authority, via DiRobot and WizBid, cross-checked with Globes and Bizportal.
