Netanyahu at the UN: What Today’s Speech Means for Tel Aviv

Tel Aviv — Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu addresses the UN General Assembly on Thursday, 24 September 2026, on a short New York stop timed for the speech itself. For readers living in Tel Aviv — and for expats watching from abroad — the day is less about protocol than about two pressures at once: security on Israel’s borders, and diplomatic friction with European allies who have moved from statements to trade measures.
