Newsweek’s World’s Best Specialized Hospitals 2027 list, produced with data firm Statista, ranks leading hospitals worldwide across thirteen medical fields. Sheba secured places in ten of those specialties, including gastroenterology, cardiology, neurosurgery, oncology and pediatrics.
The result continues a streak that has made Sheba the clearest Israeli flagship in international hospital rankings: present every year of the series, and first among Israeli institutions in each listed category.

Prof. Yael Frankel Nir, director of Sheba’s general medical center, framed the recognition as the product of teams that refuse to freeze today’s medicine in place:
